National Apricot Day

January 9th is National Apricot Day. We love this fruit because they pack a lot of nutrients and are very low in calories. Antioxidants like Vitamin C and E offer many benefits and apricots are also an excellent source of fiber. Did you know that an unpruned apricot tree can grow to 45 feet? You'll get the most nutrients when eating apricots whole with the skin intact, and they are also delicious dried and as an additive when baking.
