Junk the Junk Food

Junk food generally refers to foods that contribute lots of calories but little nutritional value. One problem with junk foods is that they're low in satiation value — that is, people don't tend to feel as full when they eat them — which can lead to overeating. They are also loaded in sugar and sodium. Getting fit is about more than exercise — the quality of the nutrients you put it in makes a huge difference to overall health. So junk the junk food and add more fruits, veggies and lean proteins to your diet.
